it’s come to the point where i’ve realised i’m too annoying and too young to make friends with most tolkien cosplayers

maybe i should just stop even trying (which i’ve kinda done already) because there’s no point in trying to be friends with people who don’t want to be friends with you because you’re too young and too annoying to be even considered

but this is making me even more depressed about my own cosplay becuase i know i’m not gonna be good enough to get a job in costume technology anyways but i’m still trying so what’s the pont anyways

maybe i should just drop out and work retail forever

1. shannara said: Keep cosplaying, even if at some points you feel like giving up. You’ll be fine and at some point meet some other cosplayers to be friends with. If it’s something you enjoy doing, please don’t give up on it.

3. ihadthestrangestdream said: Now, now, you see most fandoms sort of already have their ‘groups’ set up… clique-ish, in a way, and it’s pretty near impossible to pop in. it can be pretty intimidating, but don’t give up. there’s room for everyone :)
